Terms and Conditions

Collector Zone reserves the right to change information contained in these terms and conditions without prior notice, to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons e.g. to comply with NZ law. Collector Zone will inform customers of any price, product, or T&C changes as soon as reasonably possible. These terms and conditions are available on the Collector Zone website and on request. Delivery Times Click & Collect -On checkout you can chose to pickup in store by selecting the click and collect option. Click and collect orders will be available the day after purchase, you can request your order sooner by sending an email to webstore@collectorzone.co.nz specifying in the subject line that it is a Click and Collect Order. The body of the email must include the following information: -Order number. -Item name. -Details on day and time you’d like to pick up. Shipping and Postage -Collector Zone uses NZ Post to deliver your order, all products and carefully packaged and wrapped in bubble wrap for safety. Standard shipping is 2 business days, but in some cases, you should allow up to 3 business days from the purchase date. Rural Delivery please allow an extra 5 business days from the purchase date. You will be notified via email when your order is ready for collection or has shipped. Safe And Secure Payments - Credit & Debit Cards We know that online payments need to be processed with care, that is why we use one of the worlds most secure online payment platform Stripe. Afterpay is available instore and online, Afterpay offers one transparent solution to shoppers with no credit checks, no interest, no hidden fees, and no catch and gives shoppers the confidence of knowing where their money is going versus worrying about where it went. Loyalty Points /Spending -Collector Zone encourages customers to become loyalty customers and offer loyalty points on sign up and on all purchases. Loyalty points can be used as a payment option at the time of making a purchase* and your loyalty points balance will show on your receipt. In Store vs Online - If you have a Loyalty points these can only be used in store. Expiry - Our Loyalty points do not expire. Balance Enquires- Please get in contact with us if you wish to know how much loyalty points you have accumulated. *Loyalty points cannot be used to purchase American candy Exchange and refund policy - Collector Zone is not required to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase – So please choose carefully. Collector Zone will however allow you to exchange items bought*, for product of equal value (or store credit) within 7 days of purchase, only if the item exchanged is unopened, in original condition and must be accompanied by proof of purchase. If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act. Food Items. *Conditions –All freights costs for any exchanges are at the customer’s expense, e.g. there is no refund or exchange on shipping costs. Partial and total REFUNDS (change of mind) Returns, both partial and total, related to orders placed with Collector Zone must be communicated within a period of no more than 7 days. To do so, you need to send an email to info@collectorzone.co.nz specifying in the subject line that it is a RETURN. The body of the email must include the following information: -Order number. -Item reference. -An explanation for the reason for the return. To ensure that the return is handled correctly, we recommend that you include a photograph of the item with a high enough resolution to verify its condition and support the reason for the return. Collector Zone will not accept any product return that has not been previously confirmed by our customer support team. To return the requested item, you must keep the packaging and any accessories that came with the product in perfect condition. When the item arrives at Collector Zone we will check it to ensure that it has arrived in the same conditions in which it was sent If the item is not damaged or defective in any way and the return is accepted and store credit will be applied to the customer’s account, the costs of sending the item to Collector Zone will be paid by the customer. In the event of any damage, Collector Zone will assess the option of a partial refund of the amount of the item in question and discuss the options with the customer. FAULTY PRODUCT or ISSUES related to product defects Customers must notify us of any incidents within a maximum of 7 days from the receipt of their order. To do so, you need to send an email to info@collectorzone.co.nz specifying in the subject line that it is a Faulty Product. The body of the email must include the following information: -Order number. -Item reference. -An explanation of the problem or the reason for the return. To ensure that the return is handled correctly, we recommend that you include a photograph of the item with a high enough resolution to verify its condition and support the reason for the return. In the event of an incident involving damaged items, the pictures MUST clearly show the damage to the product and pictures of the shipping box(es) must be attached, where you can see both the shipping label and every side of the box. If you notice any damage to the packaging or tampering with the seal when you receive your order, you must note it on the carrier's delivery note to make it easier to process the request. Collector Zone will follow its obligations under the consumer guarantees act and either replace your item or refund the cost of your item. To return the requested item, you must keep the packaging and any accessories that came with the product and return all damaged or faulty items along with their boxes and any accessories, the costs of sending the item to Collector Zone will be paid by the customer. If we confirm that the item is defective or damaged Collector Zone will be responsible for the shipping costs and handling of the replacement of the item. Collector Zone reserves the right to offer alternative compensation in the event of defective items. WHAT DOES DAMAGE, FLAW OR DEFECT OF AN ITEM MEAN? An item is damaged or flawed when it has dents, scratches, cracks or breakage that are visible and compromise the original value or structure of the item. An item is defective when it does not match the product purchased, either because a different product was sent or because it is clearly defective (broken internal parts, parts that do not match what was purchased, missing parts, etc.). Collector Zone reserves the right to privately assess the flaws, damages or defects that customers report to offer alternatives to a possible return. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR FLAWED FUNKO ITEMS Funko products are a special case that requires special handling. Due to their original manufacturing and packaging process, minor paint alterations, missing or different labels from those shown in the photo of the item, changes in the colours or design of the box, minor defects on the figure or packaging, small stains, minor curvatures, scratches or tears on the outer packaging are NOT considered damages, defects or flaws. NO claims or complaints will be accepted for poor packaging or minor paint flaws on any Funko branded item. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR FLAWED TRADING CARD GAMES When it comes to trading card games (TCG), no complaints or incidents related to the condition of the packaging will be accepted.
